Omar Martinez

Omar Martínez is a dedicated, professional and highly experienced musician with an extensive list of accomplishments as a music performer, composer, arranger, music director and educator. Years of experience in various areas of music performance (live music productions, live broadcasted productions, studio recording sessions, music tours). A quick learner who is always open to learn and work with a team to produce at the highest level of excellence and quality.

Experience

Omar's has years of experience as a professional musician. He is currently the Band Leader at one of Cirque Du Soleil's productions, 'JOYA', a resident show in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. This is the 2nd Cirque Du Soleil show Omar has been a part of, the 1st one been 'Luzia'. Previous to Cirque Du Soleil, Omar spent 12 years as a trumpet player, horns & strings arranger at the largest church in the United States, Lakewood Church. Throughout his professional career, Omar has recorded, toured and worked with renowned International Artists and Music Producers on Studio Productions as well as Live performances and International Tours.
